What is the best wood for a pergola in Bali?
There is no single best timber for every project. For Bali's humid tropical climate, the timber should be appropriate for prolonged outdoor exposure. Naturanexa specialises in reclaimed Ulin, a dense Indonesian hardwood with a long history in demanding tropical structural applications.
What standard pergola sizes does Naturanexa offer?
Our standard height is 258 cm to the top of the beam. Standard width and length options are 3, 4, 5 and 6 metres. Custom dimensions are available for project-specific structures.
Can Naturanexa manufacture a custom-size pergola?
Yes. If the standard dimensions do not suit the project, send the required footprint, timber dimensions and drawings so we can review custom production.
What is the difference between a pergola and a gazebo?
A pergola is generally open or semi-open overhead and is formed by posts, beams and rafters or slats. A gazebo normally has a more complete roof and creates a more enclosed sheltered outdoor space.
Can a wooden pergola have a solid roof?

Naturanexa does not provide installation directly. We manufacture the reclaimed Ulin timber components and can recommend third-party professionals for installation where appropriate.
